Is it healthy to eat seaweed?

Yes! Seaweed is a great source of iodine, which helps support your thyroid gland. Seaweed also contains other vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin K, B vitamins, zinc and iron, along with antioxidants that help protect your cells from damage.

Our seaweed is also fat-free and cholesterol-free.


All of our roasted seaweed is manufactured in the same nut-free factory environment! Regardless of the quantity you purchase (10, 50, or 100 sheet packs), they do NOT contain any nuts.


We recommend storing our seaweed in a dry, cool, and dark area, such as a kitchen cabinet or pantry, and use before the best-by date. Avoid storing seaweed in the refrigerator.

What is the difference between the 100 half SHEETS and 50 full sheets?

The 100 half sheet pack of seaweed contains 50 full sheets of seaweed cut in half.

Are there preservatives in your seaweed?

No! None of our roasted seaweeds contain any preservatives.

What does it mean when seaweed is organic?

Our roasted seaweed is 100% natural and NASAA Certified Organic (NCO). Our roasted seaweed is also cultivated on USDSA certified organic farms, harvested by machines and roasted according to national organic program standards.

Is seaweed vegan?

Yes! Seaweed is a sea plant that is 100% vegan.

Where is your seaweed sourced from?

Our seaweed is made in China and certified organic by a third party in Australia. We source our seaweed from China 80% of seaweed is grown in China, and they have some of the best technology to product roasted and seasoned seaweed.

Is seaweed GLUTEN-FREE?

Yes! Seaweed is 100% gluten free. Our roasted seaweed is 100% gluten-free. However, our seasoned seaweed is NOT gluten-free.

What is the “chemical known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm”?

Lead is present in seaweed in extremely low amounts. In the state of California, we are required to warn our consumers about this amount, even though the amount present is not enough to cause harm. According to studies, even if you consume a high amount of seaweed, there is a low probability of health risks from lead via seaweed consumption. Small amounts of lead are also present in agriculture, seafood, and tap water.

Is there salt in your roasted seaweed?

There is no added salt in our roasted seaweed. However, there is a slight saltiness and salt content that comes naturally from saltwater, where the seaweed is harvested from.

What are the flavors?

We have two flavors of teas:

  1. Peach flavor - White Peach Green Tea

  2. Lychee flavor - Lychee Oolong Tea

Where are your teas sourced from?

Our tea leaves are sourced in Taiwan, and are teas are also brewed, flavored, and made in Taiwan.

What is citric acid?

Citric acid is the acid found in the juice of lemons and other sour fruits. It is mainly used as a flavoring and preserving agent, especially in soft drinks and candies. 

How do I store bottled teas?

Our teas are best stored at room temperature or refrigerated prior to opening. After opening, please keep refrigerated. 

Is corn syrup USED in the bottled teas?

We do not use corn syrup in our teas. Instead, our teas are sweetened with cane sugar.

Why doesn't it say "all-natural"?

All our vegan jerkies are made in Taiwan, and under Taiwan’s food laws, it is illegal to label products as "all natural." In the US, we are also not allowed to label our foods as “all natural."

What is vegan jerky made of?

Our vegan jerky is made of soy protein and licorice. 

What is the allergen warning?

Our vegan jerky may contain gluten and soybeans.

How do I store vegan jerky?

Be sure to remove excess air from the packaging and seal tightly. Then, place in a dark and dry area, such as a pantry.
