Matcha Cheesecake Lotus Bun Ingredients



1 Arroyo Kitchen Green Tea Lotus Bun

Matcha Powder

Cheesecake (can be store-bought)

Matcha Syrup

Bun Preparations:

Steaming:

  • Use an electrical steam or traditional Steamer

  • Toss buns into steamer and leave in steamer for 5 to 10 minutes

Microwave:

  • Wrap bun(s) with wet paper towel

  • Microwave on low for 30 to 45 seconds

Preparation Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Green Tea Bun

  2. Leave pre-bought cheesecake in the freezer for 1 to 2 hours for easier and cleaner cutting

  3. Put cheesecake slice in the opening

  4. Add in Matcha powder, Matcha syrup, and whipped cream

  5. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

- Matcha Powder: Find it in your local Japanese Grocery Market

- Cheesecake: Available at your local supermarket or bakery(?)

- Matcha Syrup: Available at your local Japanese Grocery Market: Mitsuwa, Marukai, Tokyo Central, Nijiya, Uwajimaya.
