IS IT HEALTHY TO EAT SEAWEED?

Yes! Seaweed is a great source of iodine, which helps support your thyroid gland. Seaweed also contains other vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin K, B vitamins, zinc and iron, along with antioxidants that help protect your cells from damage.

Our seaweed is also fat-free and cholesterol-free.

DOES YOUR SEAWEED CONTAIN NUTS?

All of our roasted seaweed is manufactured in the same nut-free factory environment! Regardless of the quantity you purchase (10, 50, or 100 sheet packs), they do NOT contain any nuts.

HOW DO I STORE SEAWEED?

We recommend storing our seaweed in a dry, cool, and dark area, such as a kitchen cabinet or pantry, and use before the best-by date. If you'd like to store it in the refrigerator, make sure the package is securely sealed and keep it in the low moisture section.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 100 HALF SHEETS AND THE 50 FULL SHEETS?

The 100 half sheet pack of seaweed contains 50 full sheets of seaweed cut in half. 

WHAT IS PROPOSITION 65?

Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. The label can be seen on additives or ingredients in pesticides, common household products, food, drugs, dyes, or solvents. WHAT IS THE “CHEMICAL KNOWN TO CAUSE CANCER, BIRTH DEFECTS OR OTHER REPRODUCTIVE HARM?”

It is Lead. The % of lead inside seaweed is extremely low. Every agricultures or seaweed food/ sea vegetables, tap water all have ‘lead’ inside even when we breath.
Unless you eat tons of seaweed at the once otherwise it shouldn’t have any side effects on you.

HOW MUCH IODINE DOES YOUR SEAWEED CONTAIN?

Our roasted seaweed contains between 16–43 mcg (micrograms) per serving, or about 11–29% of the daily value).

WHAT OTHER MINERALS ARE PRESENT IN SEAWEED?

Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Calcium, and Iron.

ARE THERE PRESERVATIVE IN YOUR SEAWEED?

No! None of our roasted seaweeds contain any preservatives.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN SEAWEED IS ORGANIC?

Our roasted seaweed is 100% natural and NASAA Certified Organic (NCO) and QAI. Our roasted seaweed is also cultivated on USDSA certified organic farms, harvested by machines and roasted according to national organic program standards.

IS SEAWEED VEGAN?

Yes! Seaweed is a sea plant that is 100% vegan.

IS SEAWEED GLUTEN-FREE?

Yes! Seaweed is 100% gluten free. Our roasted seaweed is 100% gluten-free. However, our seasoned seaweed snack contains soy sauce, so its not gluten-free.

WHERE IS LITTLE JASMINE SEAWEED MADE? WHERE ARE THERAW MATERIALS FROM?

We have seaweeds that are made in USA and we some that are packaged in packaged in USA.

Our seaweed raw materials are from South Korean and China. 

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE "MADE IN USA" AND "PACKAGED IN THE USA?

In order to keep up the demand and have enough supplies, we work with several facilities and each facility have its own processing and certifications. 

WHY ARE THERE 2 DIFFERENT ORGANIC CERTIFICATES?

The facilities we work with happened to have different Organic Certifications. One of them is QAI USA) certified, and the other one is NCO Certified (Australia). They both are reputable third part organizations that are approved bt he USCA Organic Organization.

WHY DO THEY TASTE DIFFERENT?

All of our seaweed raw material is harvested naturally. We do NOT alter the seaweed and use it's is.

The salt taste of each product/lot depends on saltiness of the ocean water. 

IS THERE SALT IN YOUR ROASTED SEAWEED?

There is no added salt in our roasted seaweed. However, there is a slight saltiness and salt content that comes naturally from saltwater, where the seaweed is harvested from.
